Formed in 2022, Aperion Assets is an Australian-owned and managed company providing managed service solutions for the built environment. We leverage a depth of knowledge, experience, and analytic capability in managing building assets to offer an innovative service delivery model with the aim to improve your business’s financial performance.

Through our unique Technical Assets Service Agreement, TASA-care, we enable businesses to gain access to new and upgraded technical assets required for the built environment – managed simply through the payment of a monthly fee. This agreement allows valuable capital to be freed for use in other projects and to generate business growth.

Recharge expenses

Erik Scholz
Director, Secretary

A highly experienced business leader and chairman, Erik was CEO of Gerard Industries-Clipsal which was acquired by Schneider Electric Group.

He went on to become CEO of Clipsal and a member of Schneider’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee. In 2010 Erik created a group of companies through acquisitions and organic development in the electrical and energy sector. He is currently a director of numerous companies engaged in energy, horticulture, consumer goods and capital investments. Erik is also the Executive Chairman of BE Power, which is a key shareholder in Apeiron along with a number of large energy and renewable infrastructure projects around Australia.

Nicholas Lianos
Chairman

Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer of Grosvenor Engineering Group (GEG) & Syntric. He is regarded as a forward thinking and curious entrepreneur with the ability to think outside the square.

In 1994 he founded GEG with business partner Peter Souflias, now one of the country’s leading providers of intelligent building services, design and construction solutions. These services are provided across HVAC, fire, electrical and building IoT.

Mitch Edwards
Director

Mitch has provided dedicated fire, electrical and mechanical service delivery for almost 20 years.

Starting in the field, and progressing to sales and operational roles, Mitch has both the knowledge and skills that are highly beneficial to clients. Currently in the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Grosvenor Engineering Group (GEG), Mitch is responsible for the delivery and sales of our key customers across all GEG entities. A focus on our customers ROI through strong relationships and providing tailored solutions through our multiple businesses and teams.

Cameron Exley
Head of Technology & Commercialisation

Cameron has an extensive background in technical leadership and service delivery.

Throughout his career, he has lead various global teams within IT, data centre and Operational Technology (OT) environments. As an engineer, he specialised in the networking and security of these environments. Now, as our Head of Technology Commercialisation, Cameron is responsible for the performance of Syntric from technical operations through to marketing and sales.

Anna Giorgianni
Head of Marketing

With over 20 years’ experience delivering integrated campaigns & solutions, Anna has have worked across a range of industrial and Kat D to come later manufacturing organisations,

including: mechanical/industrial engineering, lighting, electrical, gas, mining, serviced offices and scientific chemicals, in both global and local (APAC / ANZ) capacities; marketing to a range of verticals including: commercial, retail, healthcare, education, venues, hospitality & accommodation, to name a few. In her current role at Grosvenor Engineering Group (GEG), Anna overseas all aspects of the marketing function for GEG and entity brands Syntric and Apeiron Assets.

Paul Schlaphoff
Director, Origination

With extensive governance, operations and financial expertise, Paul has held several executive director and CEO roles over his 25 years in the construction, engineering, energy and project management segments.

With first hand experience as a quantity surveyor, Paul’s roles have involved commercial leadership, c-suite and operational/business improvement, and development of strategic plans and objectives for large organisations and contractors. Paul’s specialties include commercial strategy and implementation, business- and contract-wide risk management, leadership of senior management teams, and strategic account and relationship management on major contracts and projects.

With almost 25 years’ international experience as a senior manager in manufacturing and engineering, Graham has overseen significant increases in efficiency and customer satisfaction during this time.

He has a strong background leading teams in the development and implementation of strategies and processes to achieve outstanding client focussed outcomes and organisational objectives. Currently in his role as the Chief Operating Officer of Grosvenor Engineering Group, Graham is responsible for implementing and overseeing the operational effectiveness and strategic direction of the business.

Being involved in, advising technology start-ups or established organisations, Con has deep knowledge in aligning technology with an organisation’s commercial strategy.
